The Cliffside Inn

Reider + Co's redesign of Newport's Cliffside Inn draws inspiration from the stately mansion's rich history and notable former resident, artist Beatrice Turner. Each of the 16 rooms has a unique design featuring a palette of deep green, blue, and eggplant hues, ensuring that the new Cliffside appeals to both repeat guests and first-time visitors.

The Sydney

Reider + Co collaborated closely with the architect and builder to transform The Sydney, an 8-room boutique hotel in Edgartown, into a cohesive jewel with deep Vineyard roots and modern style. Working closely with the architect and builder, we selected materials and finishes for the new 14-room building, merging the original 19th-century home of a whaling captain with new construction. Jewel tones and a sea-like palette of blues and greens are accented by mother of pearl, woven seagrass wall coverings, and abstract coastal art. The result is a unique hotel with a natural element and a thoroughly modern vibe.

The Reider + Co team was thrilled to design The Richard, a new Edgartown hotel with a layered design that juxtaposes a masculine, edgy vibe with soft, organic forms. Subtle coastal reminders include seagrass rugs, sheer woven drapery, and bleached wood. The result is a royal escape with a modern edge that stands out from the typical coastal style.

Reider + Co took on the ambitious renovation and redesign of The Wesley, a harbor side hotel, and transformed it into Summercamp, a modern interpretation of a summer camp where guests can relax and reconnect. Field Guide, a 30-guest accommodation property in Stowe, Vermont, is designed to embrace the town's year-round outdoor pursuits. Reider + Co incorporated faux fur, antlers, and bird wallpaper, among other nostalgic elements, to create functional, luxurious, and lounging spaces. The locally sourced reclaimed wood front desk welcomes guests to the highly textural lounge, featuring orange pops, local Vermont art, and two roaring fireplaces. The heart of the property boasts a heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, and mod cabanas.
